New battery has low battery life

Battery life will vary depending on the product configuration, product model, applications loaded on the product, power management setting of the product, and the product features used by the customer. 

As with all batteries, the maximum capacity of rechargeable will decrease with time and usage.

The power in batteries is created by chemical reactions. If it is not working properly, accepting a charge, or lasting long enough it is recommended to exercise the battery. To stir up the chemicals please exercise the battery by charging it overnight, then discharge it by using it in your device until the battery is fully drained. Repeat this full charge full discharge process about 4-6 times. 

It is normal that a new battery needs to be exercised. You should notice the battery will run better and longer with each cycle.
