SonaVERSE USB LED Clip-On Speaker powers on but there is no sound

Troubleshooting:

  • Computer volume or media volume may be turned down or is on mute.
    • Does turning up the volume on the computer or speaker solve the problem?
  • The music source on the computer is paused or not playing.
    •  Was the music paused?
  • If the speaker is powering on but not playing audio or the audio continues to come from the computer speakers, the speaker settings will need to be changed

If your settings need to be changed, follow the below instructions on how to Select your SonaVERSE USB LED Clip-On Speaker as your defaulted audio device:

Go to your computers task bar > right click on the Speaker icon > select Play Back Device from the menu.

From the Play Back Device menu, select the device to play back the audio. The connected audio devices will be listed such as a headset or USB Audio Device (SonaVERSE speaker).  This is how one toggles between multiple speaker devices.

For Skype, use the Audio & Video Settings menu to select the connected Microphone (headset) from the drop down menu and the Speaker (headset OR speaker).  From GTM use the Settings menu to select the Microphone (headset) and Speaker (headset OR speaker).

If using Skype with the headset set as both the microphone AND speaker, the connected USB speaker is still active for the computer (if selected in the computers task bar) for playback such music played on YouTube.

If using Zoom, go to your Audio Settings and make sure you select the speaker as your Output and then select your Microphone for the input
