Remote is not working with BlueSYNC STW

Troubleshooting: 
  1. The remote for the BlueSYNC STW will come with the battery already inserted and a plastic tab preventing a complete connection of the battery to the contacts of the remote. Remove this tab before using the remote.Does the remote operate when the tab is removed?
  2. Does the remote operate when the tab is removed?
  3. If the remote is still not working, please try replacing the battery. The battery can be replaced with a CR2025 or a CR2032 type battery.Does replacing the battery solve the problem?
