Restore SL4000 has bad battery life

• Upon first receiving the Restore SL4000, fully charge the battery via USB power for 5 hours. After a full charge, fully drain the internal battery, then fully charge it again. You will know the battery needs to be recharged when the LED begins blinking on and off. Repeat this cycle 4-6 times for optimum battery performance. Be sure to perform this exercise before using the solar charging function of the Restore SL4000.
  • Are you still experiencing low battery life from the Restore SL2600 after exercising the battery?
• The Restore SL4000 has a 4000mAh internal battery, with a full charge it should be able to provide 2 full charges to a device with an 2000mAh battery. To figure out if your Restore SL4000 is performing as it should, divide 4000 by your device's battery mAh rating.
  • Is the Restore SL4000 providing an optimal charge to your device (ex: 4000/2000 = 2 full charges)?
